I can’t go to college anymore

“Cinderella and Four Knights.”

Ha-won (Park So-dam) thinking that she has failed in her mission to get Ji-woon (Jung Il-woo) in attending his father’s death anniversary, Ha-won left Haneul house. Ji-woon went looking for her and and he head on to their usual convenience store. This is the same store that Ha-won used to work at and where Ha-won treated Ji-woon to a bowl of jajangmyeon when Ji-woon had no money after being kicked out from the hotel by Chairman Kang. It was also the same store that they went after the episode of Ji-woon helping Ha-woon in her indigestion.

Ha-won was in her imaginary conversation with her father and mother with three bowls of jajangmyeon. She jokes about telling her father that she should have bought the sweet and sour flavor while telling her mom that she needs to go on a diet. Suddenly choke with emotions, Ha-won broke down and cried while apologizing to her mother that she is not able to attend college (since she has failed in her mission and she has no money for college). Ji-woon who was standing behind her, heard her self-conversation. Trying to cheer her up, Ji-woon called out to her and ask how can one person finishes three bowls of noodle. Ha-woon was surprise with Ji-woon being there but kept a solemn teary face.

Looking tenderly at Ha-won, Ji-woon tells her to go home. Ha-won was confuse with the word home – which Ji-woon then tells her to go home as in back to Haneul house. Ha-won replied that she cannot go back there anymore. Ji-woon then tells her that he did went to the temple to pay respect to his dad and that Ha-won did succeed in whatever mission she was task with. Hearing that, Ha-won face lighted up. Ji-woon asks Ha-won if she is the one who has place a white rose on his mother’s urn. Ha-won replied that after all, both their mothers are neighbors (refering to their mothers’ urn being next to each other). Ji-woon tells Ha-won that he brought the white rose to give it to his father. Upon hearing that Ha-won praise him for a job well done. Ji-woon brushes it off and ask her not to over-react and tells her to hurry up and go home together.

Ji-woon has been there on many occasions caring for Ha-won and he is the only one who knows where to look for her. That’s how Ha-won ended falling for him bit by bit as he is always there when she is alone.
