If I told you that I have always loved you

“When the weather is fine.”

“If I told you that I have always loved you from that moment until now, what kind of expression would you wear? ” Eun-seob (Seo Kang-joon) whispers in his heart as he hugged and kissed Hae-won (Park Min-young).

After Hae-won confesses to Eun-seob that she likes him, Eun-seob has been staying away from her. Being abandoned since he was young and with both of his parents dead, Eun-seob is afraid of being close to anyone.

Eun-seob has to make a trip up to the mountains to retrieve a book which his sister has left behind. Eun-seob’s mother made him promise that he will never go to the mountains alone and seing Hae-won in the bookstore, Eun-seob’s mother asked that Hae-won accompanies Eun-seob. As they walk up the mountains, they came across a tombstone with no name. Upon asking what the tombstone means, Eun-seob says that if one suspect of something while standing in front of the tombstone, their suspicion may come true. (Flashback of Eun-seob’s suspicion that Hae-won will be sitting next to him in class and where the suspicion came true.)

As they continue their walk to the little house in the mountain, Hae-won asks Eun-seob to go back himself as she wants to explore the peak of the mountain since she has made her way up here. She walks away much to the concern of Eun-seob who notices that Hae-won was wearing the wrong shoe to be hiking on the mountains. As Hae-won reaches a river bank, Eun-seob calls out to her and tells her is slippery. He walks over and ask Hae-won to hold his hand while he helps her to cross. As they continue their hike up, they finally reach the top of the mountain – to a very beautiful view.

As Hae-won stood there looking out, admiring the view, she tells Eun-seob that she finds it hard to look at his eyes. She continues that she has to remind herself of the fact that Eun-seob does not like her. She sadly says that Eun-seob has been very warm to her and because of that she suspects that Eun-seob likes her (flashback moments of Eun-seob taking care of her when she was staying with him and working as his bookstore). She continues that since Eun-seob asks of her not to suspect anything, Hae-won tells Eun-seob that she will now stop from doing so. As she turns to walk away, Eun-seob grabs her hand. Eun-seob drops his bag and walks over to kiss Hae-won.

This is their first kiss and Eun-seob acknowledging Hae-won’s confession. In his blog, Eun-seob later narrates how he almost fainted when he kisses Hae-won. The crush and love that Eun-seob has for Hae-won started since young and there were few such moments where both has crossed path. This is a beautiful story of how one boy has love the same girl for so many years and when the girl opens up to him, his fear of losing her makes him stayed away. When he finally let go and takes the first step by kissing her, was what makes the kisses so beautiful.

“I guess that’s why I suspected about your feelings for me.  But I won’t do that anymore.  Since you told me not to,  I wont suspect anything.  I really won’t.”
