“Doom at your service”

After declaring that her plan is to love Myul-mang (Seo In-guk) so that she can live without losing anything, Dong-kyung make attempts to try and fall in love with Myul-mang. Doing a research on how people fall in love, she ask Myul-mang to come into her dream to re-enact the scene. The first attempt was the typical way of people falling in love in school. As Dong-kyung was sitting by the school field, Myul-mang dressed up in a school uniform, protected her from the flying ball. The heroic scene however has no impact on her and they move on to the second re-enactment.

This time the story continues on with the girl after high school finds that she goes to the same college as her crush whom she met at the church. Her crush plays the piano at the hat she is in the same a library where a handsome intelligent guy was browsing the book and caught the eyes of a girl. The charming scene again has no impact on her and they move on to the third scene.

Myul-mang was dressed up handsomely and putting the car in reverse with a parking ticket in his mouth. This apparently was one of the ways to fall in love. That scene also did not trigger any feelings and both Myul-mang and Dong-kyung agrees that these are all acts in vain.

As they went back to the scene at the beach, Myul-mang ask is Dong-kyung have had enough of acting. Dong-kyung then tells Myul-mang that to love someone, she must know about his world and ask him to show her his world instead. Myul-mang reminded her that he is not human and that his world is nowhere near what she would expect. But nevertheless, if that is what she wants, he will bring her to his world.

The scene turns into a garden space with blooming colorful flowers. Myul-mang looks on to Dong-kyung and tells her this is his world. He starts walking step by step and each step that he took on, the green grass and blooming flowers starts to wilt away and dried up into ashes. Dong-kyung looking at what had happened narrates “The reason behind everything that disappears. The deity that makes everything vanish. It sure must be lonely to love the things that disappear the moment you touch them. Lonely enough not to ever want to love them.”

With that, Dong-kyung walk towards Myul-mang and with every step that she took, the grass turns green and the flowers came to life. The garden blooms beautifully with each steps that she took. Myul-mang was surprise by the transformation of the flowers and stood still. Dong-kyung holds his hands and the rest of the garden flourishes. Feeling shocked, Myul-mang pulls his hand away and Dong-kyung woke up from her dream. Dong-kyung narrates again “I think I finally understand what it is that you’re running away from.”
