“Doom at your Service”
What do you do when you have a choice between death and choosing doom? Tak Dong-kyung (Park Bo-young) has to make the choice of choosing Doom, Myul-mang (Seo In-guk) or immediate death. Her death is inevitable since she has been diagnosed with a terminal illness. But she still has 100 days before her death and choosing Doom, she can have a painless death with the condition that she must wish for the world to end before she dies. As an event happens right before her where she is to be killed instantly by a lorry, Myul-mang stops time and gave her the choice -“would you die right here right now or would you hold my hand?” And just like that, Dong-kyung reaches slowly for his hand.
We particularly like this since for its dramatic and its romantic effect despite the catastrophic turn of events. The music effects is brilliant with the scene being frozen in time and then to have the time being reverse as if nothing has happened.
